The JLPGA Resorttrust Ladies, was held at GRANDEE Hamanako Golf Club (6,500 yards/par 72) in Shizuoka.

On the final day, Miyu Yamashita, who started the day tied for the lead, played consistent golf from start to finish. With a total of 21-under, she became the first player in JLPGA Tour history to win two consecutive four-day tournaments. She also became the youngest player in history to surpass 400 million JPY in lifetime earnings. In second place, four shots back, was Miyu Sato at 17 under par. Shuri Sakuma, who also tied for the lead, finished in third place at 15 under par. The previous tournament winner, Sakura Koiwai, was tied for 21st place at 7 under par.

On the final day, with a one-stroke lead, Yamashita's tee shot on the par-3 seventh hole was two meters next to the pin with a 6-iron. She made her first birdie of the day and once again took the sole lead. She also birdied the par-4 8th hole and the par-5 9th hole to finish the front nine with three consecutive birdies, and Sakuma made bogey on the 8th hole. As a result, the gap between Yamashita and Sakuma had widened to four strokes. Yamashita continued to concentrate on the back nine, and by the end of the 11th hole, the gap between her and second place had widened to a whopping six strokes. In the end, she was only four strokes out of second place, but it was definitely more than a numerical difference. In 13 tournaments this season, she has finished in the top ten seven times (including three wins), more than half the time she finished in the top ten. It seems as if Yamashita's era will continue for some time to come.
