[JGTO] Game Result : JGTO Mizuno OPEN (25th May – 28th May)

Mizuno OPEN, was held at Setouchi Golf Club in Okayama.

Kensei Hirata, 22 years old who started fifth place in the final day, holed out with a six-birdie "66", and the score was 18 under par. Keita Nakajima, who is in the same age group as Hirata, also advanced to the playoff with a 17-under total. The playoff was repeated on the 18th hole (par 5). On the third playoff hole, Nakajima missed his second shot. It went to the water, and he could not make par. While Hirata made a birdie putt for his first win on the tour.

Kazuki Yasumori, who had held the lead since the first day, carded a 72 with five birdies and five bogeys to finish in third place at 16-under par with Takumi Kanaya. The Mizuno Open also served as a qualifying event for "The Open Championship", and the top four finishers, Hirata, Nakajima, Kanaya, and Yasumori, qualified for the event. Taiga Semikawa and Jbe Kruger (South Africa) were tied for fifth at 14 under par. Ryo Ishikawa finished a 71, in 17th place at 8-under.
