The JGTO 50th DUNLOP PHOENIX TOURNAMENT was held at Kochi Kuroshio Country Club (7,335 yards/par 72) in Kochi.

Ren Yonezawa and Young-Han Song (Korea) are in second place with a total of 13 under par. Keita Nakajima, who is top-ranked in the money list, started the day in ninth place and scored a 68 with one eagle, four birdies, and two bogeys. He finished in 4th place with a total of 12 under par. Kanaya, who started the day tied for the lead, was unable to reduce on his 72 and finished in 7th place at 10-under par.

A birdie on the 17th hole put him back in a tie for the lead with Young-Han Song and Ren Yonezawa, and Nabetani clenched his fist in a big fist pump. On the 18th hole, with all three tied for the lead, Nabetani put his second shot into the bunker at the back of the green. He then made a series of birdies, including a brilliant up-and-down, to win by a single stroke, and at that moment, he burst into tears.
