[JLPGA] Game Result : JLPGA Yamaha Ladies Open KATSURAGI (30th Mar – 2nd Apr)

The JLPGA Yamaha Ladies Open KATSURAGI, was held at Katsuragi Golf Club Yamana Course (6,480 yards/par 72) in Shizuoka.

Anai started from 5th place, two groups ahead of the final group, and made four birdies and two bogeys for a total of 9 under par. In a playoff with Shoko Sasaki, she won with a birdie on the second hole. Last season's prize money queen of the year, Yamashita Miyu, was a total of 72, including three consecutive bogeys, and finished in third place at 8-under par. Yuri Yoshida finished in fourth place at 7-under par.

The first hole of the playoff. Anai's first shot went to right widely. However, the ball hit the TV tower and returned to the fairway. She has good luck. But, it was not enough to decide the match. On the second playoff hole, she stroked a great first shot. She took the advantage, but her second shot went into the bunker in front of the left side of the green. Here, she recovered with excellent technique. Her bunker shot was 1.5 meters to the right of the pin. Against her, Sasaki tried a 2-meter birdie put, but could not make the most of the opportunity. On the other hand, Anai made a brilliant winning putt.
