[JLPGA] Game Result : JLPGA AXA Ladies Golf Tournament (24th Mar – 26th Mar)

The JLPGA AXA Ladies Golf Tournament, was held at UMK Country Club (6,565 yards/par 72) in Miyazaki.

8 years pro Hinako Yamauchi won her first Tour event in her hometown of Miyazaki, Japan. In the final day, she started from 8 under par second place and made 4 birdies, 2 bogeys "70" for a total of 10 under par. And Mamiko Higa was one stroke behind of the leader in second place. Haruka Kawasaki, who started the day at the top of the leaderboard, finished tied for 3rd at 8 under par.

Yamauchi, who had made back-to-back bogeys on the par-3 2nd hole and par-4 3rd hole early in the tournament, seemed to have dropped out of the V competition, but she did not flinch in the slightest. She has played UMK Country Club countless times since she was in the 3rd grade elementary school. She knew where she could get birdies, so there was no need to panic.

At the par 4 6th hole, she missed the green with her second shot but made a chip-in birdie. She then sank a 5-meter putting on the par 3 16th hole for her fourth birdie of the day to move into the lead alone.
