The Stanley Ladies Honda Golf Tournament was held at the Tomei Country Club (6,570 yards / par 72) in Susono, Shizuoka.
Sakura Koiwai made a second won with 12-under total of the season, and her 8th win on the tour was her first 54-hole, no bogey, victory. Nana Suganuma, Mao Saigo, and Hana Nagai, who are tied for second place at 11-under.
The victory had been a long time coming since the "Resort Trust Ladies" in May. In this fall, Koiwai made some changes to her game, switching to a new 1W model (SRIXON ZX7 Prototype) from Sumitomo Rubber Industries. She has won four straight following her victory Aymi Ozeki at the "Sumitomo Life Insurance Vitality Ladies Tokai Classic", Mimu Yamashita at the "Miyagi Television Dunlop Women's Open", and Minami Katsu at the previous week's "Japan Women’s Open Golf Championship 2022". Koiwai also commented, "It's very good. It's easy to set up, the shape and material has changed, and it looks cool. The distance has also increased. It's good all around."
