[JGTO] Game Result : Shigeo Nagashima Invitational SEGA SAMMY Cup Golf Tournament

The Shigeo Nagashima Invitational SEGA SAMMY Cup Golf Tournament was held at the “The North Country Golf Club” (7,178 yards / par 72) in Chitose, Hokkaido.

Hiroshi Iwata, who had been the leader from the previous day, played in great condition, making 4 birdies on the front nine holes of the day.
Although he made a bogey on the 13th hole on the back nine holes,
he made birdies on the 11th and the 18th holes. In the end,
he finished with 6 birdies and 1 bogey for a "67". With a score of 19 under par,
he ran away with his second win of the tournament and his first win of the season.

On the following day, the 22nd, his alma mater, Sendai Ikuei Gakuen High School,
will play in the final tournament at Koshien (a baseball stadium where games are played in the Japan's National High School Baseball Tournament) for summer tournament to become the first Tohoku team to win the championship.
On the third day of the tournament, the day before he took the lead, Hiroshi Iwata said,
"I want to win the tournament with them," and used this as an encouragement for himself.
And then, he was able to deliver the good news one step ahead of him.

"I hope that the Sendai Ikuei students will read about my victory, and I hope that they will win the championship at Koshien," he said.
The shy Hiroshi gave his best wishes to the Sendai Ikuei Baseball team.
