“GOLF NIPPON SERIES JT CUP” was held at the “Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club” (7,023 yards / par 70) in Inagi, Tokyo.
Hideto Tanihara, who started the final day at fifth place and four stroke behind. He made five-birdie and no boggey "65" to win the tournament with a 12-under total. He became the sixth player in the tournament's history to win back-to-back titles. He finishes the final round of this season's JGTO tournament with his 17th win in total.
What helped him win his 17th tournament event was his setting, mainly PRGR, with which he signed a club contract in June of this year. The driver and fairway woods are PRGR "RS" series. As a result he used these clubs, his driving accuracy percentage on the final day was 78.571%, which ranked him second in the tournament.
For irons, the lineup was made up of the Yonex "EZONE CB702" for 4I, PRGR "01" for 5I, and "00" from 6I to PW. He did well with his short game, such as his signature approaches and around the greens, and kept par 100%. He also made par for a 2-meter right-to-left putt on the difficult final 18th (par 3) hole to finish with five birdies and no bogeys, bringing his total to 12-under for the tournament.
