[JLPGA] Game Result : JLPGA MINEBEAMITSUMI LADIES HOKKAIDO SHIMBUN CUP (6th – 9th July)

The MINEBEAMITSUMI LADIES HOKKAIDO SHIMBUN CUP, was held at Makomanai Country Club Soranuma Course (6,611 yards/par 72) in Hokkaido.

On the final day, Sakura Koiwai from Hokkaido, who started the day in the lead, and finished a 71 to win for the first time this season with a 12-under total. This was her 9th win on the tour. Erika Kikuchi and Lala Anai tied for second at 9-under. Amiyu Ozeki for fourth at 7-under. Saki Nagamine and Misaki Miyazawa tied for fifth at 6-under. Fumika Kawagishi and Haruka Kudo tied for seventh at 5-under, and Naruha Miyata and Yuka Nii tied for ninth at 4-under.

On the final day, Koiwai played aggressively from the beginning. On the par-5 3rd hole, she aimed to hit the green at 2nd shot. She hit the ball into a bunker in front of the green, but this is one of her management skills. It is because she is good at bunker shots. And she easily hit the ball 15 yards to the pin, which was 1 meter away from the pin. Of course, she made birdie on that hole, and on the 6th hole, she made her third shot to 1 meter for her second birdie.

On the final 18th hole, her 9-meter birdie putt was 1.5 meters over the cup. She had a good grasp of her three-stroke lead, but went over because she wanted to make birdie. The winning putt was not easy either. However, she easily saved the par to win her 9th JLPGA Tour title.
