The JGTO VANTELIN TOKAI CLASSIC was held at Miyoshi Country Club West Course (7,300 yards/par 71) in Aichi.
Yuta Kinoshita, who started the final day tied for the lead, finished 15-under for the tournament with a four-birdie, no-bogey "67". He won a close battle with Takumi Kanaya, who also led the field, and Rikuya Hoshino, who finished one stroke behind in second place. He shed tears of joy at his second win on the tour after five years since the 2018 My NAVI ABC Championship Golf Tournament. Rikuya Hoshino was in second place at 14-under, Takumi Kanaya was in third place at 13-under, Kodai Ichihara and Ryosuke Kinoshita tied for fourth at 12-under, and Yosuke Asaji and Koshiro Maeda tied for sixth at 10-under.
At the 15th hole (par 5), where the three players in the final group were all on the same score, both Kanaya and Hoshino succeeded in hitting the green in 2. Kinoshita, on the other hand, decided to play the third shot and made a 6-meter birdie putt. The next hole was the 16th hole (par 3). Kanaya's tee shot was close to the pin on this difficult hole, but Kinoshita's tee shot went just inside the pin than him. However, he missed the birdie putt and was unable to take the lead. At the 17th hole (par 4), he made a 3-meter birdie putt to finally take the sole lead and his second win.
