[JLPGA] Game Result : JLPGA Earth Mondahmin Cup (22th - 25th June)

The JLPGA Earth Mondahmin Cup, was held at Camellia Hills Country Club (6,650 yards/par 72) in Chiba.

After 72 holes, Akie Iwai and Jiyai Shin (Korea) were tied for the lead at 13-under total and entered a repeat playoff on the 18th hole (par 5). Jiyai won on the first hole to take her second win of the season following the opening round "Daikin Orchid Ladies".

Iwai, who came out of the lead, finished the final round with a "69" to go to an extended playoff with Jiyai, who caught up with her with a "68." Jiyai birdied the first hole, but Iwai could not make birdie, her fourth approach from behind the green to lose the match.

Erika Kikuchi is in third place at 12-under. The six players in 4th place at 11-under were Yuri Yoshida, Sakura Koiwai, Nana Suganuma, Ritsuko Ryu, Mayu Hamada, and Pei-Ying Tsai (Taiwan). Mone Inami, Chisato Iwai, Miyu Sato, and Chia Yen Wu (Taiwan) and Miyu Yamashita who started leader with Iwai, were in 10th place at 10-under total. Momoko Ueda, Kumiko Kaneda, and others were in 18th place at 7-under. Ayako Kimura, the previous year's tournament winner, finished the four-day event at 6-over 73rd.

In the playoff, Jiyai made her third shot with 54 degrees from 85 yards to 1.5 meters in front of the pin for birdie and won.
