The JGTO Panasonic OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP was held at ONOTOYO GOLF CLUB (7,113 yards/par 72) in Hyogo.

Tomoharu Otsuki started of a tie for third place on the final day and finished a "66" for his first win of the season and third win on the tour with a total of 20 under par. Ren Yonezawa and Young-Han SONG (Korea) tied for second place at 17-under, Taiga Nagano was in fourth place at 16-under, and Ryutaro Nagano was in fifth place at 15-under. Keita Nakajima tied for 8th at 13-under, while Takumi Kanaya and Mikumu Horikawa finished tied for 16th at 11-under.

Otsuki has finished in the top 10 three times in 17 tournaments this season, but the only match in which he finished in contention for the championship was the "Japan PGA Championship", where he finished third. "I haven't been in good form this season. I started the day thinking that it would be best if I could play well all day." He said he had low expectations for himself. Perhaps the fact that he was able to play without being over-enthusiastic led to his good start. He made a birdie for a 5-meter from the front at the par-5 2nd hole, and then made two birdies in a row at the par-3 3rd hole with a 5I tee shot 3 meters to the right of the pin. Although he was concerned about his position, there were few scoreboards on the course where he could check his ranking, so he was not aware of his victory. It was only after the front nine that he realized he was in the lead with a one-stroke lead.

The wind was blowing at the 10th hole, and he drove his tee shot with a 1W to the front of the green, and then made his second shot 2.5m next to the pin for his third birdie. He also birdied the 11th hole (par 5) to keep his lead. He finished with another birdie on the final hole to extend his lead to three strokes.
