The JGTO Sansan KBC Augusta Golf Tournament was held at Keya Golf Club (7,216 yards/par 72) in Fukuoka.
Young-Han SONG (Korea), who started the final day in the lead, finished with six birdies, one bogey, and one double bogey for a "69" and a 17-under total to win his second Tour event, his first since the SMBC Singapore Open in January 2016. Ryutaro Nagano is in second place at 16-under total. Yusaku Miyazato, who also started in the lead of the final day, failed to reduce on his 72, with five birdies and five bogeys, and finished in third place at 14-under, along with Ryo Katsumata, Taichi Nabetani, and Kohsuke Suzuki. Ryo Ishikawa was 16th at 10-under, and the previous year's winner Riki Kawamoto was 24th at 8-under.
Yusaku Miyazato looked to be on a roll on the 5th hole when he made a 10-meter birdie putt. However, Young-Han SONG, who made a brilliant second shot from the rough over the trees and onto the green, also kept his lead with a 5-meter putt. And by the end of the 8th hole, he was four strokes behind 2nd place after starting from the lead. At the final 18th hole (par 5), he dribbled his second shot from the right rough and made a double bogey on that hole, but he won the tournament with a one-shot lead over Ryutaro Nagano.
