Ryo Ishikawa and Rikuya Hoshino, who started three strokes behind tie for second place, scored both 69 stroke, 1 under par the final day. Ishikawa birdied the playoff second hole to win his 18th Tour title in three years.
Ishikawa made his third birdie of the day at the par-3 4th hole to take the lead. However, he could not defend his lead and it became a dead heat. Ishikawa made two bogeys by the 8th and was Co-Leader with Rikuya Hoshino and Taiga Semikawa at the end of the front nine. There were also 3 more players 1 stroke behind.
At the 12th hole in the back nine, Ishikawa placed his second shot with 110 yards to go 2 meters in front of the pin and made a birdie to catch leader Hoshino. Then, at the 14th hole, with a gusty wind blowing, he dropped his second shot into the water hazard in front of the green for a double bogey and retreated from the leader. However, he made a 5-meter chance at the 15th hole to bounce back, and Hoshino who made a 3-putt bogey at the same hole, so Ishikawa moved back into the Co-Leader. He made pars at the difficult holes, including the par-3 17th hole, and finished the regular 18 holes with a "69".
