The JGTO ASO Iizuka Challenged Golf Tournament, was held at ASO Iizuka Golf Club (6,809 yards/par 72) in Fukuoka.
Keita Nakajima, who started final day at second place with a three-stroke behind, won for the first time as a professional. At that day, Nakajima finished an eagle, six birdies, and one bogey for a round of "65," bringing his total to 29 under for a playoff with Takumi Kanaya. The playoff was played on the 18thmaedanoriko hole. Nakajima won with a birdie on the second hole, and was thrilled on the green to win his first title since turning pro, overcoming a "close friend" who was two years his older and had played in the same final group three weeks in a row. This is his second win on the tour since the Panasonic Open in 2009.
At the 17th hole (par 5), where he was in the lead, his second shot went to wide left for his first bogey in his 71st hole of the tournament. He also lost the lead again to Kanaya, who had birdied that hole. However, he made birdie at the 18th hole with a 3-meter putting. And then he advanced to a playoff.
Ryo Okamura from his hometown of Fukuoka finished 22-under with 3rd placed for his first top 10 finish on the tour. Takahiro Hataji was 4th at 20-under, followed by Kensei Hirata and Yousuke Tsukada at 19-under 5th. Taiga Semikawa finished at 16-under 14th, the same position as Hideto Tanihara and others.
